The Reaction Bike-Powered Stage gives the term People Power a whole new meaning.

With 6 bike generators powering a massive array of custom built speakers and bass bins, you can ride off into the sunset on a wave of Phat beats.

When you’ve had enough on the bike, the Reaction Crew,and guest jocks grassroots, reggae, dub, funk and jungle mixes are sure to have you frantically dancing the night away.

2017 acts are still to be confirmed, but here’s a look at what our legs powered in 2016:

MotormoufMotormouf is a Hip-hop hippy who travels the galaxy armed with a loop pedal, a microphone, quick fire lyrics and beatbox vocals as his weapon of choice!
He has supported the likes of; Beardyman, Petebox, Akala, Dead Prez, and is even a semi-finalist in 2015′s loop station battles in the UK beatbox championships!

GremlynDJ Gremlyn – Vinyl junkie and lover of reggae, upbeat digital dub, ska, hip hop, funk and soul. Purveyor of epic rambling, multi-genre musical journeys. Originator of Leeds’ now defunct underground club-night Defibrillator. Part time “Ganja Panda”. Festival veteran and part of the bike powered Reaction Sound System ( Found behind the decks at Grassroots, Pub Dub, The Very Tidy Disco and a whole host of festivals.

King DavidKing David – From Roots to Dancehall, Ragga to Rub-a-dub, King David is guaranteed to get the crowd moving with the best and biggest tunes – past, present and future!
He earned his soundboy stripes working through the ranks of Riddimtion Soundsystem for nearly 10 years as a DJ, MC and producer. He has since gone solo and continues to play music for the masses to enjoy, and is currently working towards releasing music from his own label, Many Mansions, as well broadcasting a regular podcast radio show. Reggae music to hype all types!

TREEKLEDJ Treekle has been playing strictly vinyl sets around Leeds for more than 10 years. Inspired by soundsystem culture, he started playing dub and roots reggae, moving swiftly onto reggae inspired drum & bass, as well as 90s old-skool and modern ragga jungle.

DJ Treekle plays regularly on the legendary bicycle powered Reaction Soundsystem, playing festivals such as Alchemy, Eden and Northern Green Gathering where he closed Friday and Saturday night last year. He also plays regularly on the first Friday of the month at Pubdub at the Chemic Tavern in Woodhouse, also powered by Reaction Soundsystem. After a free night of lovely dub and roots, DJ Treekle brings the session to a close with a stomping set of jungle and d&b featuring the fattest reggae basslines. The mix of jungle classics and dnb remixes of roots reggae favourites gets the whole dancefloor skanking and raving with the room shaking.

TempleheadTemplehead – Fresh from headline slots at Megadog’s 30th Anniversary show in Nov 15 and the bonkers Beatherder in July 16 Dom Templehead will be taking it easy & playing ska, dub beats & the odd ukulele.
